Veracis Wellness Inc. is committed to respecting the privacy of individual and recognizes the need of people with whom we do business for the appropriate management and protection of any Personal Information that you agree to provide to us. No part of our web site is designed with the purpose of attracting any person under age 13.
What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you subscribe to our newsletter, fill out a waiver, form, register and make a payment.
How do we use your information?
Customer Service: We request your contact information (such as your name, email address, mailing address, etc.), demographic information (such as your country, gender, etc.), and profile data when registering for a class, workshop, event or receiving a therapy, so we can personalize your experience. For our internal purposes, we use this information to communicate with you. We use demographic and profile information about our guests in order to improve our service, for marketing purposes and/or for industry reporting purposes.
Communication: The address, phone and email address you provide when registering may be used to send you information and updates relating to future classes, workshops, events and services. Additionally, you may subscribe to receive company news, updates, related service information, etc. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, detailed unsubscribe instructions are included at the bottom of each subscribed email.
Payments: Payment is required for all registered class series, workshops and events at time of registration, in person, or by phone. Your credit card (Visa or MasterCard) reserves your space at time of registration and remains confidential.
We have a ‘no refund/no exchange” policy: Missed classes, workshops and events are not refunded; credited, transferred, carried forward or exchanged (a missed registered class, workshop, or event is a lost class). In the event that you cannot attend a registered class series, workshop or event, and with 72 hours notice before the first class starts, your fee less a $25 administration fee, will be applied to the next series of classes in the same category you wish to attend within a one year period from the original class.
Decisions are made for classes to run 4 days prior to the start date. Should a class not meet the minimum required participants then you will be contacted by phone and/or email, and no charge will be applied to your credit card.
In the rare event a class has been cancelled by Veracis due to instructor illness or any other emergency, you will be notified and we do our best to reschedule that class in a timely manner. Missed rescheduled classes are not refunded, credited or carried forward.
Retreat Terms: Canadian taxes applicable. $200, plus taxes, non-refundable deposit is required at time of registration. The remaining balance, reflecting your accommodation selection, is due two months before the first day of the retreat. We accept Mastercard or Visa. In the event that you are unable to attend the retreat dates, and with no less than three week’s notice $200 will be retained and the remaining amount will be refunded, less a 25% administration fee off the total amount. No refund or credit applies. Fees do not include transportation. Itinerary and rates subject to change.
Appointments: Therapies are available by appointment, and your credit card reserves your session. Should you require a therapy cancellation or re-booking, please provide us with 24 hours notice by calling 604.461.5511. A full fee will be applied for missed appointments.
Winter Weather Policy: Every effort will be made to deliver classes, but occasionally classes are cancelled due to weather conditions. It is the responsibility of the student to check in and confirm his/her class.
When a class has been cancelled due to winter weather, we do our best to reschedule that class in a timely manner. Missed classes, where the instructor is present, and the student absent, are not refunded, credited, or carried forward. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.
