Insights – April 2024

There is no such thing as “bad Karma” or “good Karma”.

Karma is the actions from your past influencing your present and future realities. We are each creating karma unconsciously or consciously. Karma is Sanskrit meaning action, and cause and effect.

An example of unconscious karma would be coincidentally finding that perfect job or relationship you’ve been wanting. Or meeting someone with a connection you just can’t put your finger on. It feels like fate or destiny.

But unconscious karma doesn’t always feel good. Something such as a life altering, traumatic event, leaves a deeper impact with more questions and doubt than answers. You being to ask yourself “How can this be my fate or destiny”? and “I’ve been a good, kind caring person my whole life”, so why would this happen?

There are many karmic layers to personal growth. Some of those layers take longer to unravel, experience and heal. Each layer is infinitely connected to others.

When you learn from unconscious karma you transform it into conscious karma. The more you learn the lighter it feels, and answers begin to present themselves to you. When you don’t learn something, you continue to recreate similar events.

What you do with what you learn determines your future experiences, and those of others. It becomes conscious karma. You learn and heal from an experience, often using your experience to improve the well-being of others.

Transforming a difficult situation, or any situation, takes courage, faith and self-love.

Like a wheel that is turning, karma moves around and around offering us opportunities to revisit situations over and over again until we learn the lesson or lessons.

While every moment seems karmic, it’s easier to focus on those events that influence you the most. In taking action with spiritual awareness, you complete Karma and move onto the next lesson, eventually transcending cause and effect by ‘being’.
