It’s that time of year when spring cleaning hits. Time to clean out the cupboards, closets and drawers to clear out what you no longer want or need! Such a fantastic feeling when everything is fresh and tidy. Sifting through, organizing, and giving away, or throwing something out can be time consuming and emotionally difficult.
There are many strategies and techniques available to get started. But something that is often overlooked is not only the guilt that is often experienced but rather the importance of forgiveness. With a mindful approach one can see they are feeling badly. It doesn’t matter why. It matters more to be aware of the feeling, and then realize with self-forgiveness one can release and heal. Feeling badly does not serve anything or anyone, especially your soul. So, moving forward….
