Creating an Abundant Future
Insights June 2026 by Regina Kaiser
I was blessed with the opportunity to facilitate a one-day retreat here in the Cariboo this past weekend. It was a joy to be back “on deck,” guiding an open-hearted group of women, many of whom I had never met before.
What struck me most was their willingness to trust themselves. Something within them knew this was where they wanted to be, and despite the many reasons they could have said no, they made it happen.
It made me wonder, how many times have we talked ourselves out of something that was quietly calling us? A class, a retreat, a new opportunity, a dream, or even a simple next step.
And what is it that finally helps us say yes?
Life brings changes and challenges that help us evolve. They are often unexpected and sometimes unwelcome, yet they are part of the journey. They can bring physical, mental, or emotional discomfort. Yet, no matter what life brings, I continue to find deep meaning in creating spaces where people can pause, reconnect, and support one another.
And then I rest. Until the next time.
As we enter June and approach the longest day of the year, I invite you to make time for the lightness and freedom of summer. Enjoy the longer days, the warmth, and the opportunities to be present. At the same time, don’t stop planning.
I’ve learned that if I don’t create space to dream and plan, ideas remain ideas. They never have the opportunity to take root and grow. The cautious, nervous, or anxious mind may whisper that something could go wrong. But when I look back on my life, I realize that I have always found a way through.
Perhaps you have too.
Don’t let fear and uncertainty stop you from creating an abundant future.
My invitation this month is to stay grounded in the present while allowing yourself to look ahead with possibility. Think not only about what you want to do, but how you want to feel. Acknowledge the challenges and concerns that may arise, but don’t let them define your path. Let them become part of your journey.
Reflective Prompts
- By ________, I want to feel ________.
- When I am doing ________, I feel most ________.
- What is future me asking me to do right now?
- What is something I have wanted to do for a while but have held back from?
- How might I approach it from a different perspective?
Enjoy the journey.
