Overcoming Guilt

Do you feel guilty when you want to do something for yourself?

Do you have difficulty asking , receiving, or accepting help from others? 

meditation for guilt, acceptance port moodyChances are you have  learned a pattern that prevents you from change and  growing into your light.  The first lesson in this scenario is to realize you feel guilty, and that it can be converted into a positive experience.

Feeling guilt brings your Awareness to something that is not aligned with your values, your intention.  When you feel guilty, you feel like you have done something wrong, or that what you are feeling is wrong.  This pattern diminishes your self worth making it harder and harder to feel confident and good about yourself.  Left unhealed it congests the chakras, energy centres.

Other people cannot make you feel guilty.  Rather they are bringing your  own Awareness to how you process your feelings in relation to your values and your intentions. When this happens it is the perfect time to revisit your  values and self worth – not those of another person.
