Emerging Gently

With the arrival of spring, it’s easy to feel the pressure to reset or move forward quickly. But growth doesn’t need to be rushed. April is a time to emerge gently, taking small, intentional steps while staying grounded and connected to yourself.

Staying calm and grounded in trust and love brings us the energy to emerge gently.

There’s a lot going on in our world right now, and it’s natural to feel a sense of uncertainty or unease. When so much feels unpredictable, the mind can race ahead, searching for answers or try to regain control. In moments like these, it becomes even more important to return to what is steady and within reach. Your breath, your body, the present moment and the belief in something greater than the self.

Spring is a time of planting seeds while watching for signs of new beginnings. Beneath the surface of the soil something new and magical is happening.  You can’t see it, and you have to wait and trust.  Not all seeds will emerge, but the one that do, will captivate you with promise and hope.

The same is true for each of us in our everyday lives.  Beneath the surface there are opportunities waiting to emerge. Perhaps this is the time to weed your internal garden of unwanted energies so the new can grow.

Let Love Grow

The most nourishing fertilizer for your inner garden is love. Practicing loving kindness toward yourself is where it begins as you gently cultivate a deeper sense of care that can extend outward.

In that space, doubt softens. Fear loosens. The weight of hurt, anxiety, and uncertainty begins to ease.

This month, make room to practice loving kindness, starting with yourself.  Repeat to yourself ‘I am love’ often.
