Believe in Yourself

Believe in Yourself

by Regina Kaiser

Believing in others and yourself is not always as easy as it looks.  Believing means you need to let go of all the limiting messages spinning around in your mind.  The mind speaks to us seductively or judgmentally, in a convincing, often complicated way.  You want to believe and yet there is ‘noise’.

Realizing there are negative thoughts, and in an effort to change your reality, you begin using positive thoughts and affirmations, repeating them in the hopes of clearing away the negativity.  At first your life begins to improve, people are kinder, things are flowing, everything is starting to manifest in a good way.  This is, after all, the law of attraction, at one level!  But sometimes, just as you’re getting to a point of really believing in yourself something happens to challenge your beliefs. Something begins to shatter you believing in you.  It’s suddenly difficult to believe in yourself or anything/anyone, and now you’re anxious and depressed.

When it feels like you’re alone, like no one is listening, cares or can’t relate to you, you have an opportunity to enter the next level of truth and consciousness. The truth is your ego is aching for support and recognition.  Your mind tries to convince you that self-concern is more important than self-awareness. Yet the awareness of an inner struggle, where you are witnessing the chattering mind presenting logical reasons to why you shouldn’t or should believe in yourself, is actually you being the witness, you being aware of the ego,  mind/body relationship.

Realizing you have an ego mind and spiritual body that are separate yet connected, means you are aware of the balancing act from within, as spirit.   Herein is an even greater truth.  Believing in yourself means opening up from the inside out and embracing the truth of separateness, yet not allowing the self to get lost in the ego mind.   All we ever really need is to believe in ourselves and to extend our belief in others.

Inspirations:

1. Every day tell yourself “I believe in me”.  Delete any negative programming.

2. Tell someone else “I believe in you”…and mean it.  Delete any negative programming.

When we believe, anything is possible.
