Gratitude is the acceptance of things just the way they are, the way they were and the way they have yet to become. When you are sincerely grateful you draw more gratitude to yourself because you trust and accept the moment.
You may ask yourself how can I be grateful for the anxiety, stress or depression I am experiencing? While uncomfortable or painful, these experiences allow you the opportunity to learn something about yourself. With a shift in perception you begin to see the strengths within yourself. Once could say it is our attitude towards gratitude that opens the soul to heal.
