Returning to Yourself

Insights February 2026
by Regina Kaiser

Winter continues to remind us to rest and replenish our mind, body and soul. Returning to your self, as spirit first, is vital for making conscious decisions that reflect light, love, and personal direction.

We are all connected, in ways we may not understand, just yet. How many times have you heard the wise words from a past conversation in your head? This is a karmic reminder to stay true to your intention, to forgive and to be kind to yourself and others, and to focus on your direction.  These reminders are guiding you. So, listen.

Signs Your Are Disconnecting

If you have been feeling restless or overwhelmed, it is time to stop and reconnect with your higher self.  That feeling of restlessness, unhappiness, or feelings of incompleteness are messages for personal healing and growth.  Of course, there are times, for example, during loss when those feelings are a natural response. If this is where you are at, then embrace nurturing yourself with understanding and patience. If you know of someone grieving, hold the space for them. Allow.

For most of us who have ordinary challenges like work, family, finances, and health to name a few, it is always a good time to create space to return to yourself. When you are distracted with perhaps one foot on one path and the other foot on another path, then you may find yourself ‘losing your footing’.  During these times it is simply too easy to be influenced by other people’s ideas. You may hear yourself thinking “I don’t remembers signing up for this”.  It’s time to return to your self. To centre, ground and define your personal space. This allows you to clear what isn’t yours and focus on what you want. All without judgement or criticism.  Simply pure understanding and love.

Where are you going?

During February, I invite you to reflect on who you are and your direction. It might be helpful to pick up a journal or notebook and start writing down some of your responses to the following:

  • What do you love about your life?
  • What doesn’t seem to fit anymore?
  • Where do you feel this discomfort?
  • Is there anything you can do differently and what would that be?

Begin with simple changes.

  • What feels like it’s missing?
  • Is there something you’ve been ‘thinking about’ that you want to do?
  • What needs to shift to make space for you?
  • What are you doing when you feel alive with passion?

We are each, individually asking ourselves these questions, quietly, all the time.  Consider how powerful it is when we transform holding patterns that no longer serve us.  The collective conscious is working together through all of us, all of the time.

Return to yourself, with calm and clarity, with focus and intention.  I’ll meet you there.

Light, Laughter and Love, Regina
