Christmas Wishes
For all you have done and been through
The universe sees and hears you
Offering a blanket of comfort and reassurance
Light shines from within your soul into eternity
It can be seen in the eyes of children and adults alike
In nature, noisy places and in quietude
No matter where you are on your path
Whether surrounded by family and friends
Or alone, feeling lost and empty
That light still shines within you radiating out
The universe wants you to know
Sometimes you need to be lost to find yourself again
Like the dawn of a new day
Christmas brings the promise of peace
On earth and in humankind
As the days grow longer and lighter
Do not hide yourself from life
Step into the New Year and let your light shine
