Letting go is one of the more challenging spiritual lessons. It is easier to hang onto memories, things, dreams and ideas, than it is to let them go. We have become so conditioned to hang on that we often cannot imagine ourselves without. When we let go we experience an emotional response. That response will vary, depending on the release. Letting go of an old worn out shirt will be quite different from letting go of a loved one, or a dream. Regardless of what we are releasing, we will experience grief and loss, in some form. As we allow ourselves to release and let go we free our soul.
We must first trust the process of letting go will allow us to find ourselves. Regina
