It was a delight to see Oprah this past week in Vancouver. The synchronicity of spiritual direction and intention aligns with Veracis’ vision of spiritual consciousness. Oprah, like Deepak Chopra, and Gary Zukav (to name a few), are leaders in making spirituality visible and accessible. We are encouraged and drawn to the credibility of these leaders who speak from the heart with profound truth. They are pillars of strength who have chosen not to be held back by fear of judgement , especially social judgement, or by the ‘pleasing disease” (Oprah’s words) that literally gives our power over to others.
The ‘whisper’ as Oprah called it, is always there for us to hear. I refer to this voice as ‘spirit’ or the ‘witness’. You may have a different descriptive word, but we know it’s the same. It is indefinable, infinite and ever present. It is difficult to hear when our mind is obsessing with worry, excessive thoughts, doubt or fear, but it is always present. The path to hearing ‘the whisper’, ‘spirit’ or the ‘witness’ is opened through meditation where we learn to identify patterns of the mind that are limiting, and recreate new patterns to listen to the witness.
Collectively the world is shifting and evolving with spiritual consciousness. Where are you on this journey of enlightenment?
