Time Does Not Heal – YOU DO

Time it seems is rushing by or standing still. Yet time is relative, neither moving fast nor slow.

In a hectic, busy life, there doesn’t seem to be enough time. It can be the same on a relaxing vacation that is over before it feels like it started. When suffering though, time seems to drag on. Time is relative and the changing seasons remind us to adapt, to let go of the old and embrace the new. There’s a familiarity to the seasons, yet each is unique.

Change and Letting Go

The beautiful changing colours of autumn remind us how easy it is to let go and to surrender to life. It’s important to be present in each moment. When centered and grounded in the present moment, healing speeds up and things get done with ease and flow. You start to feel like the universe has your back. Embracing Fall

During October, we welcome Thanksgiving and finish with Halloween. We can choose to slow down, or speed up, to create and enjoy magical moments. Having something to focus on other than the self, always motivates the soul and brings energy into the picture.

What does October mean to you?

For me, October is a month of gratitude welcoming the abundance of love and light into life. It’s cozy sweaters, falling leaves, cooler, shorter days, stacking wood, Octoberfest, family and friends.

It’s also the perfect time to create self-care time. A morning ritual of meditation and yoga, stretching or walking sets the tone for the day. Routine, like the changing seasons, brings balance.  Talk to a neighbour, call a friend you haven’t seen in a while.  Reach out.

Join me this October in creating daily moments of self-love and love for all. Welcome others into your life with an open heart and mind. You can do this with tiny pauses of gratitude throughout the day. Or maybe you want to start and finish each day with gratitude. A journal, a prayer, a silent wish. They are all heard and received.
