Spring into Action – March 2012

Spring is almost here, with daylight savings a couple of weeks away. Spring has a way of offering hope, as we open ourselves to new beginnings, longer, warmer days.

March is the month to Spring into Action.  Action is represented through the third chakra.  In the third chakra, which represents energy distribution, determination, will, desires and ego, we may realize we are caught in a familiar, repeat pattern, and become discouraged.  We want things to be different – we are tired of working so hard, and we want to have fun and enjoy life.

When we feel like this, we have yet to surrender ourselves to the truth that we are holding onto those patterns on an energy level.  We also find it reassuring to know we can make those changes with ease and flow.

Making changes is more than going on a diet, adding a fitness regime, changing a wardrobe or adding positive self talk.  It means integrating a consistent constructive pattern that creates balance and harmony in life.  Including a pattern such as meditation, which has been around for thousands of years, is where all change begins.   When we meditate regularly, creativity at its core level is nurtured, fueling us to be the light, the joyful expression of love.    Life becomes simpler, more enjoyable, and we don’t sweat the small, or big stuff.

Next week’s meditation theme is grief and loss. While this topic may not sound like it is for you, think again.  Every day we let go of something.  It could be a way of thinking, acting, or eating.  Or, we may have difficulty letting go, feeling anxious and uncomfortable, as the energy in our third chakra holds on tightly to old, familiar ways.   Clear the clutter, organize your life and you will experience loss at a low level, alongside enthusiasm and freedom when done.

What can you let go or change?  Take a step into a new direction of being. Clear the clutter and spring into action.
