Does your heart race and/or do you find it difficult to breathe when in a group, or confronted with something difficult? Or perhaps your anxiety is a quiet pressure on your heart. There are different degrees of anxiety, and everyone experiences anxiety at some time in their life.
Anxiety is an opportunity to heal, to change, and to grow.
When we experience anxiety, our energy system is tight, and our aura is pulled in close to our body. One or two of our chakras (energy centres) feels tight, or deficient. Everyone has experienced a tight chest with the heart beating wildly, and feeling hot or sweaty. This is a physical response to the energy held in the body.
The next time you feel anxious, consider changing the way you respond. Notice the action you normally take. Perhaps you keep yourself busy, eat or drink compulsively or hide yourself by not going out or avoid contact. These are symptoms of how we unknowingly manage our anxiety and fears. Confront your anxiety with gentle and firm reassurance.
