To forgive is to heal and let go of something from the past. Every circumstance is unique and some events or memories are easier to forgive and let go of then others. There are three directions of forgiveness beginning with forgiving the self. That’s right, your thoughts, feelings, actions and inactions affect your soul. Some of these are critical towards the self and are damaging to the soul. This is why we first begin with self-forgiveness – to cleanse and heal ourselves so we are better able to relate to others.
