“I am loved”
Loving kindness is the ability to give and receive love without any demand or expectation.
For example, when someone gives you a compliment do you dismiss it? Maybe when someone says they like your jacket, do you say something to the effect of “this old thing – I’ve had it for years? Or do you say Thank You – it’s one of my favourites?
This is a wonderful way to notice how loving kindness goes in 2 directions.
