Winter Solstice 2022
The winter solstice is the longest and darkest night of the year. It is a time to celebrate an ending and new beginning.
The darkness reminds us to enter the silence and to not fear our own shadows.
They arrive unexpectedly leaving you feeling exhausted and wondering why you acted the way you did. What if hurt, anger and fear are your souls way of bringing awareness to something that seeks to heal?
During the winter solstice we honour our inner light to align with the rhythm of nature.
Shadows show us the parts of self that are hiding because we don’t know what to do with them. There is no need to feel guilty, or bad, when they show up. Instead, wrap yourself in forgiveness and the willingness to understand what it is inside you that seeks to be heard or seen. Begin within to heal.
Is your anger or fear a long-forgotten hurt? It’s time to breathe, forgive and heal.
Ask yourself “how do I want to move forward into the lighter days?”
During the Winter Solstice the light shines into the darkness to highlight the beginning of a new year.
Do not fear the unknown. Heal in the present. Honour and embrace the birth of light.
Winter Solstice is the birth of light.
