Accepting the Moment
Where you are on your path right now is exactly where you need to be. It may not always seem like it’s the best place to be, but spiritually, it is. Finding your way to acceptance with self-compassion and encouragement requires trust in self and the universe. As you witness yourself evolving, you realize how incredible life is for yourself and others.
When the Moment Doesn’t Feel ‘Right’
Some moments do not feel right. They are uncomfortable, hurt and frightening. Some of those moments include your intuition telling you it’s unsafe for you. In this article I speak to those moments when life doesn’t feel like it’s what you signed up for or is not playing out in the way you hoped. You begin to question yourself and life.
Why Questioning the Moment is Important
Everyone questions the moment when it doesn’t feel good, and sometimes even when it’s going well. You know how it is when something wonderful happens but you’re waiting for something end it! Doubt arrives and you wonder how long it will last or if you are worthy of having it in the first place. When this happens, whether great or not so great, you are robbed of that moment due to fear and doubt. You are left feeling confused.
The Positive Side of Confusion
Confusion is the doorway to enlightenment. During your confusion you aren’t well or unwell, good or bad, right or wrong. You are in the middle, as spirit first, witnessing the process. You are confused and waiting to land in acceptance and contentment. When the dust settles and you arrive there, you feel relieved and emotional. One emotion that pops up is sadness.
Embracing Sadness When Letting Go
Sadness is such a beautiful emotion when you allow yourself to feel it and express it as spirit first. When you realize you are neither right or wrong, good or bad, well or unwell and that things don’t always turn out the way you planned, then you are letting go and your emotional body experiences sadness. It’s a good thing! Resistance to accepting things the way they are, including feeling sad, is the same as not being grateful for what you have.
You are Stronger Than You Think
How beautiful it would be if everyone when they feel sad, felt safe and loved expressing their sadness whenever or wherever that sadness arrived. How lovely would it be, if regardless of where you are, you would feel comfortable being you and could count on those around you to honour you in your moment. Your strength is in being vulnerable and authentic. Let sadness support the letting go process and acceptance of living life as a peaceful spirit in human body. Acceptances creates new paths of possibilities. Is Surrendering Giving Up?
